What a great day. Not even 11 o'clock yet and I have baked two sweet potato pies and a loaf of rye bread in the barbeque. Here they are cooling in the Palace.
The smoker is also puffing out the wondrous smells of a whole chicken, two racks of back ribs, and a couple pounds of old cheddar cheese. I expect them to take the rest of the day to finish.
